About Us

I was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN and have been a Maternity/Women’s Health Registered Nurse for almost 20 years. I am a mom to 2 children and work currently as a full time Sr. Learning and Development Specialist..in other words I am a Nurse Educator, teacher, researcher and also write a lot of policies & procedures. I decided to start a small business after seeing the need for this kind of service in our community.  Every time my mom friends tell me that someone has head lice, I hear what a nightmare it is.  No one wants to get the call from the school nurse telling you to come and get your child because they have head lice. My goal is to take a little off of your plate and work with you and your family to safely eliminate any head lice. I know as a mom, that dealing with the unexpected situations of mom-hood can be the tipping point of any given day.   I want to help alleviate some of the stress that comes up with head lice & the time it takes to deal with it. 

I was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN and have a background in Education.  I am a mom to 3 boys and own a construction company, Bright Alba with husband, Patrick...I never thought I would own a Lice Business, until one day, my entire family was sitting on the dock in Homosassa Springs Florida, when we realized all 5 of mine and my sister's kids had lice. Of all the times it could have happened, it had to be when we were on our family vacation. It never fails, it always comes home at the very worse time, hands down...I am thinking...there goes our vacation. Instead of crying, we laughed a lot & decided, we were going to dive into the Lice business. My sister had been contemplating doing for over 11 years & we felt there was no time like the present.  We are here to help you handle it, definitely make you laugh a little & empower you to feel confident in moving forward.
